In 1983 I moved to Potsdam. After German, Slavic, art history, history and religious studies, I worked as a teacher and student counsellor. From 1993 I worked as a freelancer for various educational institutes.
The year 2006 gave me the opportunity to ride during the World Cup in Germany as one of the few female limousine chauffeurs for guests of the leading hotels in Berlin. My extensive knowledge and my personal touch brought me the appreciation of my guests.
Over the years I got to know and love Potsdam. In 2008 I obtained the tour guide licenses for the city as well as for Berlin. Until the summer of 2012 I worked as a Guest Relations Manager at the Royal Church of the Redeemer in Potsdam-Sacrow. There I gave interdisciplinary presentations especially to groups with educational and historical interests. These presentations were a fusion of history, art, philosophy, religion and politics.
Due to the overwhelming response and repeated requests, as a certified tour guide I will offer thematic walking tours starting in 2013.
Let me pass on my enthusiasm for Potsdam to you, and discover the marvellous sights of the city!
